Saliah Foods Private Limited Zahidi Dates, 500 g

Description

Iraq is the origin of the palm date cultivar known as Zahidi. Its skin tone is pale brown. It's a medium-sized, semi-dry date with lots of sweetness. Zahidi dates are dry. This indicates that the sugar concentration is sucrose rather than fructose, as in the case of Medjool.Zahidi dates have less sugar than Medjool dates, yet they nevertheless have the same incredible, deep flavours! Translated as "nobility," Zahidi is also known as the "butter date" because of its flavour and colour. We'll give you the lowdown on Zahidi dates and why you should try them first when it comes to date types! The exterior crust is as crispy as crystallised sugar. The texture is chewier and harder than Medjool. The flavour of the Zahidi date is similar to caramel popcorn, nutty, buttery, and caramel.
