Meishi Panko Breadcrumbs - Grade A, 250 g

Description

Meishi takes you on a journey through the Orient by bringing you authentic ingredients for use in your traditional recipes. Panko breadcrumbs are made from grinding yeast-risen bread, which is baked using electric current instead of heat. The crusts are removed and the bread is broken down into large flakes before being completely dried. This process makes Japanese breadcrumbs crispier and more delicate than fresh or homemade breadcrumbs, resulting in a deliciously light and crunchy coating for dishes such as chicken katsu cutlets or potato croquettes. Panko adds crispiness without overpowering the flavour of the item it is coating.
