In India, green pumpkins are a cherished vegetable, known for their versatility in various regional cuisines. They are commonly used in sabzi, where they are cooked with spices to create a flavourful and nutritious meal. Green pumpkin is also a key ingredient in traditional recipes such as kaddu ki sabzi and pumpkin sambar, beloved in Indian kitchens, respectively. During festivals, green pumpkins are often included in festive thalis and offerings.
