Xanthan Gum is a natural emulsifier and stabiliser. With amazing properties including solubility in both hot and cold water, tolerance to salt, tolerance to pH and temperature changes, it is ideal for thickening and also works well as a suspension agent. Xanthan Gum provides a daily source of insoluble fiber and promotes a healthy digestive system. Xanthan gum can be used as an alternative to gluten, which improves the consistency of baked goods. Xanthan Gum is also commonly used to thicken and stabilize foods and medications. This ingredient may be added to foods and beverages or smoothies and green drinks. It is a off-white-to-tannish powder and has no fillers or binders, additives or preservatives.
